Inspired by Nature & Interior Design

Kylie began her exploration with pottery at The University of Arkansas, earning a degree in Studio Art with a concentration in Ceramics. After moving back to North Texas, she’s thrilled to be immersed in the community at Glaze Ceramic Studio working as a resident artist, studio technician, and teacher.

Kylie aims to intertwine her love for interior decorating with her passion for ceramics. Inspired by organic textures and natural colors, she aims to create work that portrays the sense of peace that nature brings, into people’s homes. She doesn’t believe it’s a coincidence that humans crave incorporating natural materials and living things into their spaces because they bring warmth, richness, and comfort. Kylie crafts objects that allow the viewer to witness a touch of earth inside while serving as a unique handmade piece to decorate and admire.

Since Graduating, Kylie has been in the stages of further exploration within her medium. She is excited to continue her passion, teaching others, and spreading a positive light to those around her. She encourages each person to find the things that inspire their sense of purpose.
